About
From the streets of Lahore, came into existence a group that shakes the scene with it’s power of Speech! Atomic Chain, formed by two brothers (Mahad Ali & Raheej Ahmed), is an underground rap group from Lahore, Pakistan.
Well, when we first formed the group, we never took anything seriously and were doing this just for fun. You know, made a couple of records influenced by different types of stuff and just uploaded them on the Internet. Believe me, I never even knew that there were other people out here in Pakistan, like us… you know like rappers and stuff. Then one day, a friend of mine, showed me an interview about a guy “Adil Omar”, an Islamabadi rapper. That just opened the gates for us. Because with the help of him, I got to know of the basics of recording and mastering. Since then, we’ve been into making beats, songs, videos and experiencing different sorts of stuff.
From those days, till now, we’ve gained alot of experience and take it more seriously, though we still don’t use any special equipment, but we’re ready for anything. Not that much popular yet, but I see us on the top of the list… quite soon.
FAQ:
Q: How or why did you chose this name?
A: The credit for choosing the name of the band goes to Xage. I don’t know what he thought exactly, but as far as I believe, Atomic means that we’re destructive (like Powerful) and Chain means that we’re a team or a group.
Q: What other things you do or like to do except Music?
A: Flaym: As you can see on the site that except for music relative stuff, I also make many videos and I’d love to be a director or an actor one day. I also have moderate skills in these fields:
Graphic Designing/Editing
Video Directing/Editing/Acting/etc.
Music Composing/Producing/etc.
Drawing Stuff ![]()
etc.
Q: Well do you take any advantage from your skills at all?
A: Sure. I know what it feels when you’re blessed with all this art (:P). I can express it like, these are different fields and when they interconnect, the result is always AWESOME! I can think of anything I want and express it on paper with my drawing skills, and then I can direct and act the whole thing myself and produce it after editing it (myself). This just feels good!
Q: OK so what equipment do you use for all this stuff?
A: Well no certain stuff to tell, but (except my super powers) I use Acoustica Mixcraft for recording and mixing the songs, FL Studio for making beats and other music, Adobe Photoshop for graphics, Sony Vegas Movie Studio and Adobe After Effects for videos. I don’t use any extraordinary hardware like microphones, cameras, etc. I just grab anything i can get.
